What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you get in touch with us with a query or register for our newsletter. We also collect information when you apply to go on our training courses, licence our software, attend one of our events, or voluntarily complete our surveys. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
How will we use the information about you?
We collect information about you to provide services to you. The way we use your information will depend on which of our services you use.
There are situations where personal data held by the Social Value Engine is shared with or is accessible by third-party organisations such as our professional advisers, website and IT support providers, payment card processors, and the like. In such cases, Social Value UK will have arrangements in place with such third parties setting out parties’ roles and responsibilities for data protection and with legally binding obligations for the protection of personal data.
Newsletter subscribers
We will use your information to send you the Social Value Engine email newsletter and, if you agree, to email you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you. You can opt-out of these emails at any time.
Customers
We use your information to send you information about new releases of our software, known bugs and so forth. You can opt-out of these communications at any time by emailing enquiries@socialvalueengine.com However, if you do so you may miss out on important information in your effective use of the Social Value Engine.
Training attendees (in person on online)
We will use your information to provide important information about the training course you are registered to attend. If you give your consent, your data may be shared with other attendees on a delegate list.
Event attendees (in person or online)
When signing up for an event your details will be used for communications about that event. Any questions asked in the sign-up form will be in relation to the event unless otherwise stated. If the event is part of a series your contact information may be used to inform you about the subsequent sessions in the series. Your data will be shared with the other facilitators or co-hosts of the event if there are any.
Project participants
If you are involved in a project with the Social Value Engine, when sharing your information with us, you are also agreeing to share your information with the project lead if the Social Value Engine is not the project lead.
Marketing
We would like to send you information about products and services of ours and which may be of interest to you, but we will only do so if you have consented. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out later. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes.
